No its just colourful jungelly stuff!  Maybe I overdid it colourwise.  When I do the upgrade for these missions I will get in there and do a bit of pruning!

Still, at least you can see it now - LOL!

That's true!  I was very happy just to see the first mission but I am happy to hear it was created with those trees.  I thought I may have botched the installation...  Thanks for what looks like another entertaining campaign!

Not on a Vanilla IL2 UP v3.0 RC4, because DBW is built on UP v3.0 RC4 with many mods and aircraft added and other features built in.  DBW users simply add the JSGME packs and missions and we all know that we have what is required.

For an UP v3.0 RC4 install you would need to download everything and look at the packs, work out the mods needed, see what you already have, install the difference etc.  Not recommended though, and not supported, since any issues raised with a different base install are not helpful, and may even be counter-productive, for everyone with DBW.

As a guide: UP v3.0 RC4 for online flying, DBW for offline modders heaven!

Hey Simon I know it not historical and I Hope you don't mind,Since i made ACE in your AVG campaign I figured I could have my hawk painted in my personal colors on my plane. Thanks to WWDubya our Squadron artist he kindly consented to do this one for me. Cherrs my friend if this is not kosher, or any one is offended i will remove it. The pictures from photo bucket do not do it Justus it is awesome.

She does look good.  I reckon you are entitled, it is not an easy campaign in which to make ACE.

I grew to love the P-40 in this campaign.  The combination of brutal energy management with fast exchanges from altitude to airspeed and back, done with measured, sympathetic movements of the controls.  You can see it your screenshots, either up in the clouds or on the deck in the same five minutes!  The real pilots must have been fine athletes.

Hi Monty!
First of all congratulations for your campaign.
I was enjoying it untill mission 27.
When I tried to load the next mission it didnt load.
So I tried to load Mission 27 in the FMB and I had this error "Mission: Wrong chief's type [Vehicles P40 plane], Mission: class vehicles stationary .Stationary not found, and others errors to.
Unfortunately I dont know how to copy the lines and print them here so you can see the full descripition.
In the single mission menu I cant play missions 27 and 28 , but 29 loads fine.
Everything was runnig perfectly untill now.
Need your help
Thank you

Gerson,
Just for information purposes, I can't check the campaign files yet since I am not that far along but my single missions 27 & 28 load just fine.

Simon just finished the Search and rescue mission. What a great addition to this campaign. The pilot in the raft and the marker smoke gives you a great feel of realy saving the guy.
Some more screens.

Hi Gerson

Do you have the JSGME Packs installed properly?  The Taxiing P-40 is is a new vehicle by Epervier and will appear more often from Magwe onwards.  You need all of Epervier's new vehicles or this pack from 78thFG_WindWpn, which includes a lot more than just statics.

DBW_MOD_Static
http://www.gamefront.com/files/21489416/%23DBW_MOD_Static.7z

Without it most of the China based missions will not work at all.

Things to check -
1- Is DBW_MOD_Static installed and activated?
2- Do you have any other vehicle mods in #DBW, that alter Technics.INI?
3- Check mission function through the single mission folder

Hi Tom

I like those SAR missions too, particularly when there are no waypoints, as here, and you have to be guided in three stages, first the grid reference area, next the pilot's homing signal, finally the signal flare from the pilot.  This feature, from Checkyersix's Command & Control Mod, is part of DBW although the C&C V2 used in this campaign includes even more goodies.
