Thanks Texx ;) Yep it makes me a hard time, my fingers start sweating everytime I approach :P But the last days I've been lucky, making many successfull landings in a row. The L-139n is a good plane to practice with, its very stable.

Next time I'll try to land an F-4 and put the vid here. That will probably be a little less perfect.

the F-4 is almost impossible for me to land, mainly because it bucks up and down at low speeds.

make a long approach, try to be aligned with the runway as soon as possible so that you can concentrate on your speed and glidepath. Try to trim it so that you have a constant glidepath and be gentle with your elevators. It is not easy to get it, but if you have it then you can almost release the stick, and only slightly pull back right before touchdown, take the power away and deploy airbrake and chute. Touchdown shoudl be around 250kmh, you can approach slightly faster but dont touchdown too fast otherwise you bump back in the air.

I will try to make a vid ASAP ;)

It takes a loooot of practice. Its been 3 years since i last was on a carrier, going back this summer...first hellcats for practice,
then panthers... Wouldn it be nicer if there was a camera mod like PAT mod in 4.101 to be used for recording landings?
