4.11 modding problem

 i have downloaded a mod for 4.11 that was tested on 4.11 and works but it is not working for me the mod is the TBD devastor not working for me  :( >:( i really want to fly those planes i love flying bombers from cockpit view

what happens "not working" is not enough for us to help. we need a lot more information.

Do you use the mod activator?
Whitout it you can't install any mods

i installed it with the mod installer yes           when i select quick mission builder and look for the plane it is never they and it worked for other 4.11m users :(  :( i really want to fly that plane

Did you make the entry in the air.ini?  Such as....

TBD-1             air.TBD1 1                            NOINFO  usa01 SUMMER

Yes. When you first download a plane or mod and you open the zip file and extract it, you need to read the "Read Me" inside the folder. It will tell you the entires you need to make to you ini files to make it work. You said you used the mod installer, I'm not using 4.11 but I rather install manualy.

Bombs, iirc the devastator came with 4.11 and you dont need an air.ini entry. All that is needed is a modact, and then you put the file you downloaded into the MODS folder, so that you have :
MODS/Flyable Devastator/(hashed file).

And all should work  ;D

Unless I misundersood echo's problem and he actually wants to use the Devastator in 4.101...

the air.ini is unneeded for this mod, as its only a cockpit, not a whole new plane.
