V-W class destroyers
« on: May 06, 2012, 03:58:56 AM »

The V-W class destroyers Veterans of the IWW were still in service, to 'start of IIWW, who played the role of close escort of convoys in the Atlantic and Mediterranean sea.
After the 42 were profoundly changed in appearance and in the armament for the various tasks that had to play second line.
I chose to represent them in the earlier time when the needs were most active in the forefront.

Thank you for these great ships!

Perfect for the "Scrap Iron Flotilla" of the RAN on Tobruk relief operations in 1941.

 8)   ;)
Four more British Corvette, for convoy escort, base models are always the beautiful works of gio963tto just a bit aged and rusted .. thanks to you Giotto for all your  fantastic models, you're for sure become the flagship modeller of Il2 ..
Of course copy first and save the original files, and overwrite in the original folders with the new one..

Mmm nice vessels there! *in a Mr. Chekov (old Star Trek)/Russian accent.*
I wonder, those destroyers look similar to HMS Cockchaffer class- yes, for those that don't know, there is a real name of HMS RN class - apparently called so to fool enemy spies into thinking that the Royal Navy would never classify some of their ships with such an inuendo. I mean how would our stiff upper lip be viewed, when the enemy think if our seamen were rubbing their 'fenders' (for want of a nauticle sounding word)...

hi gio
i have the same 70% crash problem with this pack as i do with the E class, as per my post here:
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,25451.msg364839.html#msg364839

i wonder if you, or anyone, could help me solve this problem?
i have been installing many ships into my new Modact 4 install, and only these give me a 70% crash, even though i am sure that my entries are all correct.
any advice will be much appreciated. thanks. :D
