Since I'm pretty new here, let me wade in.
There is so much here it will take you a while to absorb it all. I was drawn to DBW because of all the different planes and different models of the planes that were available. Then I started seeing and reading about some of the mods, Bismarck, Yamamoto, the split deck carriers, the Special Effects mods (smoke, destruction, etc.), and that is just the appetizers. There are missions you can download, and there are tutorials for building your own missions, and . . . There are not enough hours in the day to play and contemplate ideas, and get excited about possibilities of playing. Sometimes it is like drinking from a fire hose. I haven't even gotten to UP3 yet, because there simply isn't enough time in my schedule. I love it.
And then there are the people here! They are awesome! They are so helpful and friendly. Oh course, some are curmudgeons (you know who you are

), who are lovable in their own right. It's like a family. Sometimes there are disagreements, but it has always been respectful. I love the people associated with this hobby that I have met here. I often laugh out loud when I'm reading thru a forum topic. And I'm having so much fun that it seems sinful. And I love that also!
