One quick question, should AI be unaware that they are being targeted.

Hmm, I also had this, and with the F-4. Maybe because the AI are built for short range and don't maneuver until you get close?

Otherwise, I'm having lots of fun just flying it! I actually managed to land it twice in a row safely! ;D

For me one of the most interesting features is M39 with rate of fire 1500 rpm
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/M39_cannon
In other words 4 x M39 ~ Vulcan.
Interestingly that for me it is much easy to shot down enemy fighter with 4 x M39 than with one Vulcan. I admit that it could be due Vulcan fires like a laser - (i.e. along narrow beam). So if you miss correct aim point just a little then no any hits. :(
But there is much larger spatial "beam" with 4 x M39 and so if just some of projectiles hit the enemy fighter that could be enough to heavily damage of even shot down him.
It would be nice to insert some dispersion into Vulcan...

Many thanks for the interesting plane Super Sabre!

For me one of the most interesting features is M39 with rate of fire 1500 rpm
I corrected M39, old 1000 rpm, new 1500 rpm (view began threads)

M39 has short barrel = big dispersion, small range of exact fire.

It would be nice to insert some dispersion into Vulcan...
Vulcan has rather long barrels that small dispersion shows. In game it as a big distance of fire (1500m). I know that M61 is high-precision a gun. Can be among us there are pilots F-104, F-105, F-15, F-16, F-14 etc which shot with M61, are interesting their opinion

Thank you melissa,

Regarding Vulcan dispersion I read that external Vulcan istallations had rather large dispersion on Phantoms due to vibration (as the cannon shoots). I am not aware of accurate numbers. Internal Vulcan in F-4E probably should have less dispersion than the external ones (it is just my guess).

Regarding F-100D FM. Here is a couple of declassified documents:

I really don't want B-52's to be released next...

Oooh, shit! Just when the uploading of this surprise was on 90% complete I had to cancel it! Ranwers won't be happy! Not to mention the new skyraiders  ::)

I was joking there man. Just get annoyed when new airplanes come out when I am nearly 95% done with the campaign. Have to gauge them out in use, and modify it to accept it. If people keep releasing Vietnam-Warbirds every week or two, this will be the Vietnam War. Wish there was Vietnam Ground Units.
