You need the DVD + the 4.07m to DBW 1.71 Superpack from here ( https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,21514.msg239532.html#msg239532) only, two steps!
Use the torrent to download, took me only a day to get the 9Gb pack.

This is actually something I was wondering about as well.
Its one thing to change the aircraft's default skin for the area concerned, but as the OP asked how to change the country?
Now in some of these aircraft, take the P-40C for instance, selecting any of the US forces gives a light OD green skin with pre war US roundels.
Choose another country, say USSR, and it changes to a much darker scheme. This regardless of the map type your flying in.
So how do you change the skins that are assigned to nations, or add them?

Youre looking at two different aircraft folders, nations always have an extra folder

3do\Plane\P-40C(Multi1)\summer\skin1o.tgb
3do\Plane\P-40C(USA)\summer\skin1o.tgb

but you could also have
3do\Plane\P-40C(USA)\pacific
3do\Plane\P-40C(USA)\desert
3do\Plane\P-40C(USA)\eto
3do\Plane\P-40C(USA)\mto
3do\Plane\P-40C(USA)\cbi
3do\Plane\P-40C(USA)\winter

but you cant have 3do\Plane\P-40C(GB)\summer\skin1o.tgb without programming
