VPmedia and Max are making a really important contribution to WWI sim quality improvement, thanks a lot. Also, that new stuff they have in Dispersalfield looks very tempting. Thanks to Murdoc for those pics of the armoured cars.

lol, you could see it a bit like this:
1916, in it's original format, is a bit like a headless chicken.
vpmedia's update has screwed the head on nice 'n tightly, so that it's now a well-presented, workable package. :D
or something like that.... 8)

A questions for Istvan VPMedia, for next DBW-1916 update.

Is there a way for the next update to have the same tank (Male/Female tank) you have put into
the last package, but make it a German tank, with its own conf.ini entry (or whatever
is needed to make it into a German tank)?
ALL it needs is a new paint-job on the skin and we have a German tank  ;)

If this is possible to do, I will paint some skins for it.

Nice skins for the Fokker! I think the french skins will work well with both Bleriot's we got in the game.

As for allied tanks in german version, I think a new vehicle would require java work because they always come with classfiles.
I can only hope that someone with java programming skills takes interest in this project but I wont ask anyone....

Thank you VP, I am happy you like them. I have not tried them on the French Bleriot, but I will
be making some new skins for that aircraft too. So each skin will be an original and only fit that particular
airplane. Each one of these franken-airplanes is very unique and has alot of folds and twists in their 3D-models that
require unique skins to fit into them.
I have tried diferent skins on some, and there is alot of diferences from one airplane to the other. I am trying my best to
make them fit properly. Its not easy, its taking alot of test skins and test-flying to see what fits on them. I have been
throwing out test-skins like crazy. Each airplane done so far has had at least 12 test-skins.

Did you notice the new interior of the cockpit floor on this particular Fokker-E airplane? The right and left wing connect
in the middle and they both make up the Fokker-E cockpit interior (viewed from outside). I had to carefully measure the
distances needed in each wing to make a pilots seat and wooden floor to fit on those skins. LOL
Looks alright, I guess  :P Its a Freaky Visual effect, but it works a little bit.
At least the pilot has a seat now instead of sitting on the wing.
I wonder what surprises the next airplane skin will have in store for me.

This mod is great fun, but I was wondering if any more work will be done on the Fokker DR1 and Fokker D.VII? At the moment the D.VII is a frankenplane and looks nothing like the real thing, while the DR1's FM seems to be broken; exceed 240km/h and the thing starts shaking unrealistically. The Sopwith Camel is, in my opinion, the most refined of all the DBW1916 aircraft so far and I hope you bring the other aircraft up to that level of standard eventually. :)
Don't mistake this for bitching, merely constructive criticism, because I love what you guys have done and having a jolly good scrap at 150km/h in a DR1 at 3000m is completely different to zooming past P-51s in an Me-262, at 400km/h and at 7,000m! :D
Keep up the good work!
Regards,
Mike.
