Here is the wikipedia entry.                   http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Farman_MF.11

The usual joke about it's predecessor, the MF7 Longhorn went like this: Before finally adjusting the flying and landing wires, release a canary. If it gets out, you did it wrong.

cheers

David

It was a temporary fix to assign the Camel fm to the N.11 because with its original fm it was too superior compared to other planes. The fix seems to cause this side effect (bouncing), which I didnt notice before.
Quick fix: rename file 831F47B4E62B4AF6 to -831F47B4E62B4AF6 in the 'AIRCRAFT_Nieuport11_Rework' folder

Thank you for the quick reply, vpmedia. I, like many others on this and previous boards, have been using your materials for almost 10 years now. Thanks for this and all the other.

Thanks,

That has also fixed a problem I had with the N.11 exploding if you set up a quick mission from scramble.

Here are some old skins and pilot skins made by many other skinner-artists and
are still available for download.
These skins were made for other airplanes in the IL-2 game and not WW1 airplanes.
But they are also cool, if you want to try them out.
Enjoy and say thanks to those skinners when you download.

How bout some Early spring/late fall, Winter Fur for German pilots...

Very cool Ice.
In my WW1-pilot skin pack I also made a few pilots wear long fur-coats.
It was the "cool style" back in WW1 for any pilot to wear in combat. It also kept you nice
and warm.
I have many WW1 coats and pilot gear all ready to make some new pilot-skins, but I
have been busy with so many other skins, I just have not found the time to paint them yet.
Besides that
I have been gathering real WW1 pilots faces from photos to paint realisticly so they can
be used in IL-2 skins. That would make them look much better. In the last pack I made
them using Hollywood action movie-stars. LOL  ;D

WWHappy do not do that. Erase that post. Those skins and pilot-skins are still available at Mission4Today and you should ask permission from original artist. He is a very well known .
You could start a war for this.  ;)

if you want, post a link to where they are.

Thanks WWHappy, your a cool guy  8)
I will leave the links up for anyone who might want to try these WW1 paint-schemes but
on WW2 airplanes in the IL-2. Who knows, it might just be the dog-fight air combat of the
century!

This update v2 is a really impressive work! A big thank to all involved! Impressed for the new improvements, yesterday I've decided to update my 1916, but unfortunately the update don't work correctly on my standard DBW 1.7.1: CTD on loading or in main menu screen after few seconds... Ok probably it's time to make another Il-2 stand alone installation only for DBW 1916 :-) . Anyway, thanks again, guys! Bye!

 8)~S~
mwahahahahahaaaaaaaa I am so bloody glad I read some previous questions regarding Zz N0.2. .... :P
I will now congratulate myself with a beer and a smoke for not posting the question in question  :o
taking a bit of time to look through previous postings about a problem you may be having, therefore there is a very good likelyhood that someone else has had the same questions. This is why we have forums, and exceeelent support from the wealth of those in the know. I "dips me lid" to you gentlefolk..and I am looking forward to the updated DBW 1916, awsome splashscreen too !, can't wait to put a noodee babe somewher on it  ;)
Peace and Love to all OMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
