After a protracted development, the F9F Cougars are finally available! This pack contains not only the F9F-6 and the F9F-8, but also the two-seater F9F-8T. After some considerable research and many different builds, both GJE52 and I are happy with these. All three aircraft have quite unique exteriors which GJE52 (with the help of Lisek) have gone to great length to model. They feature a historic and well-researched loadout, including accurate pylons and positioning. The complex control setup (with the lateral control system) is also modelled. To add to this, both the F9F-8s can perform air-to-air refuelling with any drogue equipped aircraft. The flight model has also undergone many revisions and in this version we are pretty happy we are there
I hope you enjoy these wonderful little birds as much as I have. Really sorry that it has taken this long to get them out but the delay has been worth it!

Installation1) Delete ANY previous versions of Cougar mods you may have
2) Please ensure that you have a working copy of the F9F-2 Panther with cockpit and JetWar v1.2 before continuing
3) Extract the F9_Cougars folder from your archive to your MODS, #SAS or #DBW folder within your Il-2 modded install
4) Find air.ini, plane_ru and weapons_ru, and add lines from your Readme
5) Copy the Paintschemes folder to your Il-2 main directory (for extra skins)
6) If you are a 4.11.1m or 4.12.2m user, please use the updated flight models to prevent overheating
