For the longest time I've been unsatisfied with the lack of prominence of the small calibre green tracers. The other day  looked at the Body.msh files, and noted that the width of the 7mm green and yellow are roughly 1/2 the thickness of the 20mm .msh objects. So I simply made a copy of the 20mm green .msh to replace the 7mm .msh, and the same for the yellow. Now I can see the tracers better.

Did It work with TFM412/MA 5.3 and Gurner FX ? ofcourse with Mg151/20 chrs

I cannot check classfiles to see what tracers are assigned to what gun/ammo.

If the mod's tracer types (2 named 7mm, the rest 20mm) apply to all game versions, I can't see why changing those two .msh files from dimensions for the smaller tracer width to the dimensions of the 'fatter' width should not apply.

I just realized I am bit dense 

This mod adds better tracers to the game but is not a guncam mod - correct ?

Is there a gun camera mod out there for IL2 1946?

As far as I can see, and with the stock 4.08 game, all tracers appear to be so altered. Or at least all those related to aircraft guns. In my game the .50s are covered...

Hello, Im new to Il2 1946 and just installed it..

I tried to add this gun tracer mod... but the installation said:

Just put it in your mods folder (#DBW, #SAS, #UP#, etc).

I dont have that Mods folder in the Il2-1966 root folder.... could anyone clarify to me please how to install?

First, which version of IL-2 1946 do you have installed? If it is 4.07, you need to update it at least to 4.09 to be able to install mods for it. 4.10.1 and 4.12.2 are also good for modding, as some mods won't work at all on older versions.

So, what is your IL-2 version?
