Battle of Eastern Solomons, 24.August 1942
Battle of Santa Cruz, 26.October 1942
Defend of Leyte, 19.October 1944

Important notes:
-----------------------
1.You need for this campaign the Marianas_Expanded and the "Wake Island Retextured" maps by DaveOD06:

 Marianas: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,21638.0.html
 Wake: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,24568.0.html

and the "Coral Sea 1942" map (included in this download)!

2.To minimize conflicts with .dat files in your DGen game folder, please rename the new DGen .dat files of this campaign!

3.I have experimented a bit with scripted evasive maneuvering for Task Forces in the Philippine Sea battle campaign!
It could be, that ships sometimes crash in already sunken ships! Please post here, if it happens to often during the campaign!

4.You can also add new ships to some campaigns like the new Lexington by asheshouse or the Yamato by Diving_Hawk!

5. Added the Kuma light cruiser from the HSFX pack to almost all subcampaigns! So you must have this ship, before you play this campaign: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,27411.0.html

Please take a look in the relevant Read me file for more info!

Hawaii map Hickham and Luke Airfield patch:
Increased the park positions at Luke Airfield and for the landing 16 B-17s to more then 6 at Hickham Airfield!
Otherwise the game engine would takes the aircraft out of the game after landing!
Not necessary for the Hawaii map mod overall, mainly usefull for the Pearl Harbor campaign!
So feel free to use it or not: https://www.mediafire.com/?5di13318vqxkm1c

Many thanks to Paul Lowengrin for his support and Dynamic Campaign Generator,
"Team Pacific/TD" for the historical Solomons maps,
"Delvpier" for his huge Philippines map,
"agracier" for the historical Aleutians map,
"Chameleon" for the historical Kwajalein map,
"242Sqn_Cat for the reworked Midway map,
"DaveOD06" for the reworked Marianas and Wake maps,
"Whitecat" for the reworked Hawaiian Islands map,
"Bombsaway" for the reworked Chichi Jima map,
"Bee" for the historical Rabaul map,
"Slink" for the reworked .dcg files for 3.47 and all AAS/SAS and FM modders for their mods!

update 13.11.2012:
Added the possibility to include the "Ki-67-I" by "ten010" and the new "Yorktown class carrier" by "asheshouse" to the campaign!

update 15.12.2012:
1. New campaigns for the IJN career: Pearl Harbor and Wake Island!
2. Added the Aleutians campaign as an alternative start for a IJN career!
3. Added the Kuma light cruiser from the HSFX pack to almost all subcampaigns! So you must have this ship, before you play this campaign: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,27411.0.html
4. Added more ships to japanese Invasion force and reworked route to Midway, so that all ships are in one route and split later in two groups near Midway!
5. Removed "Invasion of Guadalcanal" out of the USN campaign, because there were no real carriers in this campaign!
6. Added the "TBD-1 Devastator" as an additional aircraft! NOTE: Take a look into the "Read me" file of this aircraft!
7. Added more IJN Squads to choose for a career start!

update 23.5.2014:
1.Added 5 new subcampaigns to the USN career (Rabaul 1+2,Cichi Jima,Iwo Jima and TenGo)!
2.You need 3 new maps for this campaign:

Welcome to Hell - Rabaul 1944 (Update 30/03) by Bee
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=39938.0

Bombsaway's Chichi V 1.3 map.
https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=36692.0

and the Northern Ryukyus map (included in this download)

3. You need also 3 Helldiver Versions from freeil2modding to play this campaign: SB2C-1C-Helldiver, SB2C-3 and SB2C-4Late
New link: ]nono[

4. Removed subcampaign "Battle of the Phillipine Sea" from the grandcampaign! (Worked not really good!)
5. Subcampaign "Attack on Truk Lagoon": Fixed a bug which prevented that four UN Squads could not stationed on the Carrier Enterprise and were transfered to the offmap airfield Majuro!
6. Reworked ship route for the Yamato and escorts for subcampaign "Ten Go" (Some USN planes couldnt find the ships at attack point in the first version)!
7.Added a new USN career start for a second grandcampaign path!
8.To make the Yamato a bit harder to crack you can take this example below!
But first make a safe copy of your ships.ini!
Its tested for subcampaign "Ten Go" with:
Squad density=full
Flights per Squad=1

ships.ini:
[strength_HullEnorm]
MinShotCaliber    0.203
NumShots          222
MinHitExplTNT     96
NumHitExpl        24
MinNearExplTNT    150 //130
NumNearExpl       48

Have fun!

This is a must in my install, I will surely enjoy, thank you very much!

EDIT: however, there is no download link for Marianas expanded in that WIP thread, better refer to here  ;) https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,21638.0.html

Salutè Lonestar!

ahhh,I see you have finished the Carrier Operations. Nice work,as always!  8)
After a short try (with my buggy DCG..) at the Japanese Dive Bomber Campaign I have found something, maybe a bug? don´t know. The first mission leads me to an reconnisance duty, and this can be skipped as always to make the neccecary changes in DCG. so far,so good. But it seems that the trigger to move on to the 2. mission is not working. It stays always at the first,no matter if I generate the next one.

The rest looks very fine!

Nice work LS!  downloaded and started a IJN fighter start to finish campaign.  Note, starting with Coral Sea, I remember your original had option for adding TBD1 rather than default TBF1.  I see you did not include in the readme options for alternative aircraft.  Will that be coming, perhaps with recommend line changes in the timeline for supported alternative aircraft?

@Semor
Hi,
As you said, the first is a recon mission, the second should be an attack on two ships (Oiler Neosho and Destroyer Sims)!
Have tested two IJN Dive Bomber missions for the Zuikaku and Shokaku! Both worked fine!
However, sometimes it can be, that DCG generates a "Bomb enemy defenses around "Sea position" in the second mission! I have talked with Paul about it, but apparently difficult to change!
You can monitor the created missions via FMB from your "/Missions/Campaign/IN/Dgen_PilotsName" campaign folder!

@Wind
Hi,
I removed the TBD from this campaign, because the current version dont work well for the AI!
They droped the torpedos more like bombs, not as a standard torpedo bomber!
But you can modify the campaign as you want!

Hi Lonestar. I know we have had differences on campaigns before which I like all of yours except I was unable to play most either due to horrible installs, lack of knowledge, or incompatibility. Well I will say that I had an old DBW1.7 install that was completely clean and I added few mods here and there and the first 3rd party campaign I added was this. All I can say is that this is an incredible work of art. I followed every instruction to a "T" and now have the Yamato BB and other nice maps you added. This is so much fun flying that I only wish I had more time to fly. Bravo Bravo Lonestar! Very well done sir! S!

Hi Chaney!
I know from my beginnings with DCG, it is not easy to understand! So hold on!
Glad that you like this collection of campaigns from the recent years!
Next one is a requested ETO Campaign (Operation Overlord), when I am ready I will give you beta, if you want!

I am a bit of a newbie with mods for DBW. I have DBW 1.71 up and running but where do I put the files from this download? I have the maps installed but does the whole folder "Carrier Operations 1942-45 V1.0 DBW" go into my campaigns folder? And if so which branch, UN I would suppose? If not I suppose the DGen files go into my default DGen folder in IL-2 root folder. But then where do I put all the loose .mis, .rds, .prd files? Sorry for the newbie questions, but I do catch on quick... :)

Also, I don't understand what I am supposed to rename the new .dat files to?
2.To minimize conflicts with .dat files in your DGen game folder, please rename the new DGen .dat files of this campaign!
