Any chance of a version 1.1 with a 250 lb bomb load?

Not to be a nitpick, but why is it that so many people call this aircraft an "Aircobra"? The name of the plane is (and always has been) the "Airacobra". It would be nice if CirX could correct the error.

Cool mod nonetheless.

you can correct it yourself. Just name it airacobra in the plane_ru entry.

True dat, CirX. I'd already done that.

But its skin folder is still "AirCobra1". Give me chills every time I look at it. I know I shouldn't go all Felix Unger on ya, but it's the same kinda feeling you get when you're reading and someone has written "Messerschmidt". The Luftwaffe freaks would burn a modder at the stake for a spelling like that . ;D

AirCobra or not, it's still a fun mod.

You can change the air ini entry also if you like, which will change the skinfolder name. that will make it neccesary to change the firt part of the plane ru entry and the relevant parts of the weapons ru entries.

Thahnx CirX for the Airacobra.

It's a good feeling to fly this machine.

It's also a fine playmate for FW-190A-2 and Bf-109F-2 Galland.
The agility and the weapons are comparable.

Actually it's 'Airacobra', not Aircobra. Lots of people don't notice the extra 'a' in there. But that was the official name of the aircraft as named by the Bell corporation back in the day.

I think Airacobra's armament is not comparable with any of the Fw190's armaments. Fw190A's usually had 4! 20mm cannon, the Airacobra only had one cannon, no matter what caliber, and ammo load very low...  :( Anyway, I like the Airacobra, but rather the outlook than the performance.

This works fine in DBW1.6. , and 1.71. I have used it in a ficticious campaign.  It's set in the Canaries. Spain, and sometimes Vichy v UK, and after Torch the 'Free French' I'm  two or three weeks away from uploading it to M4T.

cheers
