for those that have tried this, could i ask you to check something for me, as i have a problem with recording ntrk's, and i'm not sure what's causing it - it might be this mod.

When I watch my tracks with this mod.. I do get some strange camera angles that go off into nowhere.
after a bit, it goes back to normal. No CTD or freezes. Otherwise, great litlle mod of a mod for screenies =)

i have to put the mod in the jgmsmods folder and the nactivate it last trought jgsm?

I did not manage to make it work in UP3RC4...

it goes in the #UP# (mods) folder

I got it to work in HSFX6 by creating a folder called 'MODS' in my main install folder.
Thank you Malone ! I was so desperate for a nice camera mod after that glorious PAT_Smoke.

What about the F8 key?  In the original PAT_Smoke mod, in addition to the classic rear-view camera, toggling the key F8 would cycle through added positions for the camera ( front-view, side-views, above, under, etc...).
The really good thing with F8, is that the camera is bound to the aircraft. Wich means when you roll or pitch your aircraft, you see the landscape rotating while the aircaft stays stationary ( it's really an F1 camera postion, but outside the aircraft ).
With the mod you were able to move that camera on a x/y/z axis and  F9 was still functional.
I'm talking about killer camera angles for movie makers 

So basically, how hard is it to add new F1 cameras (default pilot's view) on various location of the aircraft?

works in UP3RC4 4.10! i am now in love with this little camera mod!

should provide me with additional footage for a little movie i am making...

I used to use this handy little mod all the time, but now it doesn't work on my DBW install anymore.
I have the folder '#DBW_PAL_LITE_CAMONLY' in my #DBW folder, shouldn't it be working?

depends as usual on what other mods you have installed, Mike.
there are several mods which are incompatible with this, remember.
this works with a vanilla DBW, so you'd have to isolate/remove the offending mods the old -fashioned way. hunt them down and kill them, lol

a good way to go about it is to do a search in your mods folder for each of the classfiles in this PAT mod - if any of them come up in another location, you've probably found your culprit.

Hey guys! I`ve been meaning to ask a question about this mod, the F8 key in particular... Is there any possibility for the camera angles and camera freedom that the F8 and F9 keys in 4.09 PAT mod provide to be implemented in newer versions of the game 4.10, 11, 12?

I am a huge addict of the full PAT camera mod abilities, and that mod is the only reason that keeps me on 4.09... The ability to put the camera on any spot on the aircraft is amazing... Is there anyone else that loves that about the full PAT mod?
