Galoub,
                could you post a picture of your screen? It will help to understand if it really is what I think or not.

Question to All:

  Has anybody divided the maps of the all.ini of the HSFX6 to show them by theater of operations?

  As I explained in this thread and was detailed in the documentation of the MissionPro, since my last version for v4.101, wherever in the all.ini you start a map description with * it will create a new submenu to make it easier to select maps.

  The order applied in the all.ini of the HSFX6 is not by theater of operations as it is in DBW. Has any of you tried to order it? Something as a table lookup in Excel could be used to double check the DBW all.ini against the HSFX6 one and then creating a clean list ordered by theater of operations.

  If somebody has made that could post his / (her?) all.ini?

  Thanks,
                     Pablo

I wouldn't mind doing, but don't actually know what maps go where! I deleted by DBW build, so don't have that one as a reference.

Spinetti, here is attached the all.ini of DBW in a .rar file

Basically what you could do is checking the DBW list, removing (or commenting with // the non wanted lines) the maps that are not present in HSFX6. The DBW is already ordered.

Perhaps (I don't know it) there are some maps in HSFX6 that are not in DBW, so they should be added if you use the DBW as base. Which theater of operations? Probably you would be able to know it. If not tell us and somebody will know.

One way of doing it is using MS-Excel. You put in a column (let's say A) all the DBW lines and in column B all the HSFX6 ones. If you use in column C a formula checking every value of column A with a lookup in B, then in column C it will clear the values of DBW not present in HSFX6.

Only a suggestion. If not obviously the manual checking is possible.

The awesome HUDConfig_V 1 for HSFX6 seems don't like the HE-111 H2...I could not see the additional information on screen.
In DBW, same configration (of course not the same mod, the one for DBW from the other benitomusos's post) works like a charm.
Any idea?
Thanks so much.

Does HUDConfig_V 1 for HSFX6 like other planes?

Hi Benitomuso,

I 've been using your excellent HUD Bombsight mod for sometime now and I 've found it very helpful.
Do you think you could make it calculate for a headwind or tailwind? The pilot would have to input just the windspeed (with a - or + depending on the relative direction) and the mod would have to provide the alternative angle. This would also be useful for bombing moving targets if their speed is known.

If I 'm not mistaken, the adjustments for this are not hard math. The equation needed shoud be tan(corrected angle)=tan(current angle)x  (TAS+-windspeed)/TAS. TAS refers to the True Airspeed already calculated by your mod.

thanks a lot

I realize this thread is a bit dated, but for those using the 3D Visual Mod, put the PAL3DEcranWide=1 conf.ini entry at the TOP of the [Mods] section above everything else  and you should be good to go.

i.e.:

[Mods]
PAL3DEcranWide=1
PAL3DStart=0
