It's been mentioned before and a WIP photo hase been shown.... But now its time to stop teasing you and finally let you in on the fun ;)


Credits are in the download as there are many who have worked hard on these planes.

The Tiffy Mk.Ia is based off of the latest Typhoon Mk.Ib. Only things altered to make this aircraft is the solid rear fairing and the .303 guns (x12)

Tested on 4.09, 4.101, and DBW 1.71
HSFX6 without the Mod TT Family (Standard or Expert) work fine ! ;)

Friction:  Mapping solid Fairing
Texx:  Mapping and default skins
.50calBMG:  Weapons alignment.

Known Issues:
On some PCs, you'll see at a certin angle, the crosshair mapping for the machine gun flash on each gun
Cockpit is that of the Tiffy Mk.Ib
Landing gear bay interrior is partially camo. This is due to the location of the fairing on the skin. It overlaps the gear bay mapping some.  :-\

There really isnt any need for a weapons.ru entry as it's either loaded with gun ammo, or it's empty.

Despite RikenĀ“s best efforts the default skin is not well aligned concerning machinegun barells and gun flashes, neither the shell ejection holes.

With this small skin pack you have this corrected and a bonus skin: the Typhoon Prototype without guns.

Actually.......no. suprisingly :D But that was over BoB 41 with 4 Do-17zs and only 1 Tiffy Mk.Ia in the air.

Not really sure on having a whole squad of these in the air though along with about 100 other planes too. I use a gunflash mod to cutdown on the flash so that it frees up some fps. that might have helped me too on that :D

Now the whole family comes together.  :D

I observed that the three outer guns are not aligned with the gunflashes, so I will rework this to align all guns and ejection shell holes.

As soon as I can I will deliver the new default skins for everyone.

Yeah. I just noticed that too. Hey, they are close though :D Not bad for 2 hours of work manually putting in these hooks. That was the first time I had to do it that way.

I dont have 4.11.1 yet so I'm not sure on that. But a 20% ctd usually means that your missing something this plane requires. Usually another mod. If you dont have it already, try getting this mod as the the Typhoon Mk.Ia is based off the Typhoon Mk.Ib.

If you already have this mod, then I'm not really sure at the moment.
