I found a link on SAS this week that I thought was pretty cool, the
High Quality Screen125.exe with Randomiser Program https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,16511.0.html. The images that are part of the package are fabulous.
One of my favorite areas on SAS is the
Share a Screen area. There a hundreds of fabulous images here as well. Then the light bulb above my head went off and I thought,
why not update the High Quality Screen 125 program with some of the images from the Share a Screen area! Great idea! ????
My motivation is one of tribute, to Monty27's Randomiser program and to the artistry of the
images done by our Share a Screen contributors. However, I can image that some might see my actions
as "Stealing" their work or the work of others. ?? But when you post your work on a public forum, do you retain or forfeit ownership rights to it's use. I would be happy to ask for permission from those people whose images I would use. That would be a lot of PMs or emails if I need 125 of them. So is it necessary or just a matter of common courtesy? Nothing I would do on this project idea could be considered my work. I'm simply repackaging the work others. But I think it would be fun. Of course, I
could do this for myself and nobody would know. If I released it to the community then others might enjoy it as well
So, I have a dilemma here. Can you help sort through the ethics here? I do not want to offend or show disrespect toward anyone with this, because I'm so appreciative of the work your do for the community that I share in. I value your opinions. Thanks.
