Dear All,

I've got a problem... I followed the installation instructions exactly, and I even added the latest SAS buttons in the specified location yet these new Spits don't show up in the aircraft selection list.. I'm using UltraPack 1.8. Please could someone help me out? thanks in advance...

Thanks, I have just tried that. and no joy. I've varied the convergence, the angle of attack upon release from vertical to shallow, and the airspeed at release and the rockets always go significantly low, I have not been able to get them to cross, or meet the aiming point of the reticule at any point of their trajectory.

Is there any way that I can adjust this ?

At the moment I'm just guessing for most rocket shots.

cheers and thanks

There isn't any other way of adjusting it. The beta version was messed up and the rockets were always low and never crossed. I fixed this for the final release and the team has tested it works. Unless the old version of the wings has slipped into the pack (I cant test at the moment, not home), then I would have to assume you have some sort of conflict somewhere.

Thank you!!!
a work of first quality!!! :)

I remarked that XVIe4 was not included, so I copied in this pack the missing
hash files from your beta XVI pack, the plane folders also...
and worked perfectly!
Couldn't resist without this warbird of yours... :P

The XVIe4 is included.... It's just a weapon loadout rather than a whole plane slot, you'll notice that there is an option of 4x hispano in the weapon loadouts of all 4 planes included in this pack. Please don't use the beta version as that may cause conflicts.

Thanks for a great piece of work, the aircraft are beautiful and your work is absolutely stunning, it is probably some stuff-up or conflict on my set up.

Your Mk XVI reminds me a lot of a real MK XIV recovered from Thailand which I did a little restoration work on. Beautiful Aircraft until you have to try and organise a sand mould and casting of both halves of the supercharger housing.

cheers

Did you paste the air.ini entries?

Yes...i did that.... & there's one more thing I forgot to mention... I'm a windows 7 user... Is there a separate procedure for that ?

=== ATTENTION PLEASE READ === (this should fix any weapon loadout problems when selecting aircraft)

If you are NOT using UI 1.2, HSFX 4.0 and above or UP 1.8 and above you will need this mod as well! The Spitfire L.F. Mk.XVIe in this pack use the 50 cal weapons from the P51s in UI 1.2. Thanks to Wolf and the team for weapons and SAS_Cirx for the extraction. You can download this here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,1496.0.html (Click on the link which says "Download WeaponsClasses (22KB)", file downloaded is named: "SAS_WeaponsClasses_4_Sound".  To install just place the folder named "1v SAS Weapons Classes" in your MODS folder.  Please delete the US_Weapons_AAA_UI12 folder if you have installed that previously.

OK for me now . (NOT using UI 1.2, HSFX 4.0 and above or UP 1.8 and above )

Installation of  "fb_hfxsounds.sfs" also needed for me to correct lost of hispano sounds on all aircrafts

Thks to all

Users shouldn't normally have to do that, it may just be the way you've modded the game has caused problems in certain sound areas. The Spit16 doesn't alter any sounds so it should be fine.
