info on this bird

Quote
Not real an G-10 (only the fuselage/ engine) ... it's the Avia C-10 (S-99), sign V-9 (later OK-BYA or OK-4381). The a/c was tested with the rockets in VLU Letnany in 1946/47 (for example Mjr. Jiri Manak on 02.10.46 seven take offs, 03.10. eight, 25.06.47 two). The pictures are well known since 70th years and often published (in Czech sources, for example in letectvi + kosmonautika).

For sure this is NOT an Avia s.99. The c.10 is basically an Me 109G-10. The timeframe can very well be correct.
I think the Germans had something simular. I know they had V-tail 109's, & 109's with reverse 'tricycle' landing gear.

Thanks for the additional info.  ;D

reverse tricycle gear?
Yep. Sorry I don't know proper term. Gear in middle drop with chute. I'll post a foto after I scan it.

Thats no "reverse" whatever. It is a G2/R1 "jabo" prototype, they added a jettisonable leg to add clearance for the bomb (sc500 on ventral rack).
