Hi hguderian!

I hope you have the Tainan mod pck 1.20 in a full installation!

For who like me have such situation you should:

1) Open this folder: TKM121_update_patch\MODS\Tainan_kosho_MOD\Maps and drop the 3 maps and the new _tex in your maps folder , the all.ini lines don't change and should be:

Setouchi Setouchi_beta/load.ini
Rabaul Rabaul_beta/load.ini
Net_Rabaul Rabaul_beta/net_load.ini

2) Open this folder: TKM121_update_patch\MODS\Tainan_kosho_MOD\3DO\Buildings and put such folder into your objects folder location (or create a dedicated folder for them) adding at ststic.ini those entry:

3) Open this folder: TKM121_update_patch\MODS\Tainan_kosho_MOD and paste the 3do folder (let stay the maps folder because it was just installed at point 1 and after pasting open the 3do folder and delete the folder named buildings because the objects was just installed at point 2) and all the clssfiles into your 1.20 location allow overwriting the oldest.

Add at your air.ini those new planes entry:

N1K1-J_mod        air.N1K1J_mod 2                               ja01  DESERT
N1K1-Ja_mod       air.N1K1JA_mod 2                      NOINFO  ja01  DESERT

You have finished the 1.21 update!

anybody else had trouble with "rabaul_city02.tga"?

I keep getting an error so I can't unpack it and there is apatch 1.22 already up. anybody knows why?

getting it to work now after a redownload.

actually the update comes at the right time as I prepare a campaign that uses the Setouchi Map :)

Hi, where is the carrier enabled version of the N1K1, i had it up and running a while ago, but had to do a reinstall? None of the Tinnian Mods seem to be this version, it would be much missed as it gave a good counter to the Hellcats and Corsairs in late war what if campaigns, also made the Allies much more interesting to use.

This new patch is giving me fits, i downloaded the one that said 122 with fix included and installe dit in mods folder, added in new air ini lines, all passes the 60% test and game opens but when slecting d3a2 and j2m5mods i get a cant load heir 3do plane error message, any ideas??, and i removed the previous cut out to my safe place beforehand.

partial self guided sucess, redownloaded the entire mod pack and installed, now alls well but no cockpits for the extra ki-44 from the cut out pack. So it seems no ki44 except initial model. Read me wasnt in english and other pages looked like in code so it seems to be well now, gotta love the tinkering the mods allow even with the frustration.

it is pretty straight forward actually when one knows what is what (look up the structure of things in files/MODS).

other than that you only need to identify the "new content" in their ini files for the planes and in the objects.ini and in the all.ini and you are good to go.
but bottom line is you need to know your way around the file structure of IL2 a little bit.

If you use a clean UP it can't be easier as they provide a jsgme activated version. (but that will ignore any plane or map mod you have added onto UP)

Does not work Tainan-Kousho MOD in version 4.10.1m? My version of the game does not support this mod? I have installed SAS Modact 2.72 for 4.101 and SAS Buttons 8.21. After installing the mod, while trying to run the game any aircraft obtained this error. :(

I cannot read what you posted but.....

did you read their instructions?
v 1.22 (i believe thats what it is currently) it is actually intended for UP2.01 modpack, which is 4.09 based.

so, it may indeed be not compatible.

don't expect a new one for 4.10 before the new UP is out.
