My instalation folder isn't wrong there is all ok (so I think).
C:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 - Kopie - Kopie\#DBW\Me-262C_SB
there is 3do, cod and all another files.
The same instalation, I use by Ar-234 nightfighter, bf-110 NF and it works well!

Rolls, have you tried to re-download the whole package and install it again back from scratch?
By removing the new 262's pack, does everything goes back to normal and working?

How can i install that?

The hier.him works, otherwise you wouldn't even be able to load the plane in the QMB screen.

My pilot still dead.

If you kill him that would appear to be normal. Or maybe he commited suicide.

Now, can i ask you to make an effort to actually explain:

1-what plane you're talking about
2-what kind of issues you're encountering
3-what are you talking about when you refer to the installation of "that" in your first post
4-why do you talk about the hier.him (are you talking about the hier.him fix maybe?)

I need exactly to know why: it's not loaded in QMB, it crashes on mission start, it doesn't have a cockpit, etc.?

You have to overwrite the previous hier.him file with the new one.

Again, an effort not to be monosyllabic in your answers, would be not only much appreciated by me, but a key to solve this issue as soon as possible. If english is not your language, i can try to help you in french, spanish and italian.

What happens is this, so I selected the Full mission builder and choose the Me-262 Sb.1a. Then i click "play". The game loads and then I get a gray image, with the following words: engine: on; engine: on;

I solved my problem by re-extracting the gunsight.tga file. Mabie re-extracting the planes will solve your problem. Or re-downloading.

Resolveu o meu problema através a extracção de gunsight.tga file. Talvez através outro a extracção novamente do aeronaves pode resolver o problema. Ou descarregar novamente.

BUT the solution apparently, in both cases, was to re-download and re-extract the planes.

QMB as our guardian angel Epervier (thank you) pointed out, is "quick mission builder". Do you see the plane when you go in the QMB? I think the answer is yes.

When you start the game with this plane and get the screen with the gray image, could you please click ALT+TAB (a series of written lines should appear in the left section of the screen) and tell me what does it say?

In QMB i can select it, but the error persists when the mission is loaded.
alt + tab gave me several errors related with canopy.msh and hiersb.him

these errors happen only with Sb.1a Schnellbomber

I'm honored by the fact you're relying so much on me, but i can't really tell you how to do EVERYTHING, my friend. You should had read around here how to do these things BEFORE coming here and asking for help.

That said, upload the image to a free uploading site, copy/paste the code for the image they give you in a post here in this thread, and post the message.

By the way, it's pretty late here in the part of the world where i live, so maybe i'll be able to answer you only tomorrow.
