Alex, I've been searching that and I've only found skins, not template, but, maybe, I can be wrong

Please can somone tell me what one do's with the Stationery Aircraft mod files and what do they do ?

They provide a stationary pane, one that you can use to park on airfields. They do not do anything, nor ever take off, but you can bomb and destroy them as targets and they can make a mission look nicer graphically.

The term is 'eye-candy' perhaps, though as a stationary object, you can strafe and bomb and try to destroy it ... it is like a truck or tank that does not move.

Right, when you make a mission, you can choose from stationary planes (or stationary ships / armor etc) and place these non-moving objects wherever you wish.

But as for loading these objects. You have to install them in the game. Usually there should be instructions included on what lines of text also have to be copied to which files. The first time you do this may be a bit daunting, but it's really nothing more than copying files to a correct location in your game files structure and also copy/pasting the correct lines of text to the correct place in the correct file.

I believe for stationary objects, you only need to copy text into the stationary.ini file which is located in:

...#DBW/STD/com/maddox/il2/objects/stationary.ini

or for the 1916 game

#DBW1916/STD/com/maddox/il2/objects/stationary.ini

For this part, it's best to read instructions carefully, make backups of all files you are going to modify first and then follow the procedure of copy/pasting.
