Hi CzTex, got a problem ..I don't appear to have any skis on my type 17. I had a test flight in QMB, and underneath are just the normal wheels. I'm using 4.12 VP modpack with all updates etc ,and have both arms folders installed...D/l all seems ok. do I need to add some other Mod ..I saw in previous posts  something about 3do updates by Jeronimo and Birdman

OK, I've D/L those two new campaigns, Battle For Crimea 1941 , and Road Of Life..which pertains to the Ski equipt I-16. Will the plane have skis fitted when I set up and run that mission? I thought that the plane folder info was specific to that model of plane only..

Skis appear when you load a map with snow on it - so check the dates of the campaign and the places on teh map (Crimea invasion campaign ran from summer 41 till spring 42, so you'll have winter months with snow, in the mountains parts of Crimea - Crimea climate is rather mild)

Only the Road of Life for Leningrad in winter uses the I-16 with skis.  Crimea 1941 does not.

Mission/plane is loading OK.. One point though..the cockpit windshield frame is very "uncurved" with flat edges, is there a Mod to help with nice smooth curves here. Running with high graphicscard  settings and (perfect mode) on a 3000x2000 monitor.got lots of Mods already within #SAS from VP Modpack.

Can someone tell me how to set the skis in an horizontal level as they come in a vertical position when I set them in the position to land ?§?

The skis are not supposed to do that - which version of Il2 are you using - they changed the code for gear animation in 4.13...
