Hi

thank you for your efforts JC, as usual you manage to make some quality work! :-)

Can I just suggest one thing for the future? Try not to use pictures of the real aircraft when making 3d model shapes, this is a mistake that many do, the problem is that you don't have an accurate sideview of the aircraft from a picture, there is always a certain element of lens distortion involved, and the bigger the subject the larger the distortion.

A picture warps because of the lens. I understand that's.
If having a drawing of the factory of Bf109, I use that.
But unfortunately, I don't have that.

A lot of drawings in a community of SAS.
I inspected those. I used a lot of time.
Something short of a tail. Something with the different location of the cockpit. Something with the different size of the Keel. Something thick. Something thin. Everything was a different drawing.

No drawings can be trusted. More 3D can't be made only at a side.

The picture I used is a modern one. A viewpoint is just beside mostly. The distortion is small.
A picture can be trusted more than the drawing which has no reliability.

If you wish for correct Bf109, please give me a drawing of the factory.

Thank you very much. JapanCat

well I suppose that apart for the original blueprints by Messerschmitt, everything else might not be accurate, and even the drawings varied slightly, so a 100% correct version is virtually impossible.
I will see if I can find some reliable sources, meanwhile keep up the great work!

*picks jaw up off the ground*

Very, Very nice JapanCat. I very much appreciate the hard work you are doing, brilliant! If I may be of assistance to the first foto you posted.
In regards to the cowl, you can see in the foto below how the foward upper cowl sits raised up, with a significant drop & gap when it meets
the rear upper cowl. The access cover (foward of windscreen) to prime/service the MG131, also overlaps the bulge on the side. The Bulge on
the foward upper cowl has no 'hard line' to it, more of a gentle curve, unlike the bulge on the upper rear as shown here.

These 'Type 110' aka 'Dirty Cowls' were standard on Me 109G-14/AS & Me 109G-10 built at Mtt-Reg & WNF/Dianna. Very much different the the Type 100 cowls of Erla and Type 099 Cowls used on some Me 109G-6/AS.

Anyways as I said, brilliant work! Take your time and very much looking foward to these!

Prepare your paints again Ice~Eagle, you will have to re-paint "Rosemarie" once again  ;)
When painting the skin you can create the visual effect of that overlapping cowl.

No problem for this one :)

Oh yes I know this, I thought if he was at this point, he could try and see if he can do it. Otherwise yes,
it can be painted no problem my friend.

ANDYTOTHED,

Pretty close lol.
