Just to keep you boys up to speed. For those who have not had time to follow the reports on the Wings over Cambridge site.KA 114 flew earlier on this morning.David Phillips was the Test Pilot.A Check captain for Cathay Pacific and an accomplished display pilot who just happens to own a Hawker Hunter which he flies at Airshows in NZ ,usually having just displayed his other aircraft, a Tiger Moth.Anyway I digress ,during the Test flight the ASI packed it in,so another aircraft  a T28 Trojan kept the Mossie company. After doing a few circuits around Ardmore aerodrome KA 114 landed at Mangere Int airport where the engines and airframe were thouroughly inspected. The ASI fault was rectified.

I'll be at Ardmore on Saturday and will post pics and vid... I just hope the weather clears up enough! God I'm excited about it  :P

I do hope the next one they build stays here in NZ, we have a distinct lack of multi engined warbirds, and now with the Anson and mossie we are getting some rare birds up and flying.

The Mossie put on a tremendous display at Ardmore today.
