+1

UP 2.0 has a markings mod included in the SFS files (spookie?),so possibly not. I am wondering the same thing, so I'll try and post back if I figure it out!

Hi! I am running mat manager 2.36 with my UP 2.0 using the latest SAS buttons. Works with no problems for me.

Ok ,how did you get it running  ?
Did you just copy and rename the il2 exe in the root directory to get things working ?

Thanks for any help

Here's what I did,

I found the il2.fb exec file, and copied it to another folder. I renamed this to il2 and copied it
to my IL2 main folder.
Then I went into my config ini file in IL2 did this:
Arcade=0
HighGore=1
mapPadX=0.6689453
mapPadY=-0.046875
viewSet=59
Intro=0
NoSubTitles=0
NoChatter=0
NoHudLog=0
NoLensFlare=0
iconTypes=3
eventlog=eventlog.lst
eventlogkeep=0
3dgunners=1
ClearCache=0

Notice the last line where I have ClearCache=0 if this is missing mat manager wont work.

Next I went into the paintschemes folder and set the properties for Cache, Netcache, and regiments. Basically what I did is unchecked the box where it says "read only" clicked apply.

This allows mat manager to access these files.

I have been able to change markings back and forth with no problem.

Let me know if you need any help getting this working.

This warning box comes up if that helps

Error
Source folder 'D\Il2 Sturmovik\1946 Paintschemes\Regiments\Alternative Staffel 1 Coloured numbers for QMB\LW numbers and gruppe symbols red no border' not found for copy.

Any ideas as the Mat manager runs but when I save ,load and finally quit to save settings this appears and I can't exit the program ?
Also Mat Manager does'nt seem to be showing up ingame either yet ?

Thanks

Make sure you try running it as Administrator. Also check that your conf.ini and other files you might be trying to adjust, are unchecked as 'read-only' in their properties. Sometimes the wrong setting here will make the game ignore your changes, and revert to its original settings.

I can't seem to get the cache, net cache and regiment folders to save my changes when I uncheck the read only box. I'm clicking the box in properties that says apply after I uncheck, but each one refuses to save the changes. When I go back into properties for each to check my changes have stuck the read only box is highlighted again.
Not too sure whats going on, maybe I'm not meant to have MatManager ??? Frustrating
