Sorry for the inconvenience, must be the heat today.  :P  I have made a few cosmetic but important changes to some of the campaign aircraft loadouts in a few missions and altered the Skinpack to include the Hurricane MkIIb.  They are only fairly small files, so I would ask that you re-download the CAMPAIGN/SINGLES/SKINPACK if you had these before Sunday November 25th, 2012.  :-[

Hi Simon

Thanks again for this nice campaign .

Just to let you know that all the ' known ' Malta Spitfires have been fully covered by as talented skinners as
KRISTORF (Part I and II in 2009 ),SPARROW,HARPIA MAFRA and HIGHLANDER .
There may be others that I am not awarre of.

It just looks like you didn't know it from what  I understood while reading your Malta Siege read me.

If you are interested I could send them to you .

Sonny,

Thanks for that nudge in the right direction mate!  Kristorf, one of A&A's finest skinners, has indeed produced some excellent Malta Spits.  I will update the Malta Missions and Skinpack with these in order to properly complete this project, and I want to know why they are not up at Axis and Allies Paintworks and correct that situation too.   Update to follow shortly...

MALTA SPITFIRE SKINS UPGRADE

The various scratched together units are now beautifully represented by the selection of skins from Kristorf.  Thank you to Sonny Tuscon for helping to find these skins.

Please re-download the set for the upgrade if you had them prior to this notice.

+ NEW SIEGE OF MALTA SOUNDPACK NOW AVAILABLE
by marcost and Monty27

http://www.axis-and-allies-paintworks.com/download.php?view.694

UNRAR into your Main Il2/1946 Install:

The Siege of Malta Soundpack will install the required sounds and overwrite existing missions.  Your new mission sets will now play a unique 'Malta' Soundtrack at the briefing stage before each flight.  There are some news-reel clips, snatches of radio conversation and local music broadasts.  Nothing else is changed and existing campaigns underway are uneffected, except for this enhancement.

Caution, if you open the missions in FMB, you may loose the 'Briefsound' lines, since they are added outside with a text editor.  Always backup!

Thanks to marcost for collecting the sounds.  Audio mixing and mission coding by Monty27.
