I have updated Lonestar's BoB DCG campaign for HSFX.

This updated version has been edited to support HSFX and includes a few HSFX-only additions to enhance the experience.  Note, this release requires DCG 347 beta 8 (latest release).


Note, please read the included README carefully for additional detail and recommended add-on options to enhance the experience over England during the summer of 1940!  With the improved AI of 4.11 and the HSFX enhancements the DCG experience really shines!

Special recognition to LS as original author to the campaign and permission to release for HSFX.

NEW IN Version 2
 - Updated planeset per sub campaigns to historically match options available during Battle.
 - Added 109E4B as a Jabo option for airfield attack during Eagle Day and Fighter Command
 - Added Hurri IIa for Sept-Oct as this bird came into service in limited numbers during that part of the Battle
 - Added 109E1 for Channel Battles, and E7 (limited) for Finest Hour subs matching historical options
 - Added Spitfire Ib (Squadron 222)  Note if flying this bird, be sure to choose Squad 222 to ensure limited plane set.  Only 30 flew in BoB during opening phase.
 - Added Spitfire IIa (Squadron 222)  Note if flying this bird, be sure to choose Squad 222 to ensure limited plane set.  The IIa was limited but saw action from late Aug though remainder of BoB.

From Readme (I pulled this out to post in this thread because these optional enhancements really add to the DCG BoB Experience!)
    Additional recommended enhancements:
    - BBC Radio Beacon:  Tune in and listen to BBC radio broadcasts featuring news and music from the period.  Recommend Monty's Radio Pack for this feature.
   
    - 609 Squadron Voice pack:  Update the British voice pack to feature the 609th Squadron and excellent voice commentary specific to the Battle of Britain. 
       (note only install the voice samples for this DCG campaign)

I don't have got DCG 3.47 beta8, but I have got 3.47 beta6 if you need it.

3.47 beta6 is already on my HD. That´s not the problem.I think Wind or Lonestar should have a copy.

Note, DCG beta 6 or 7 will work but you may hit the shipdamage bug that has been addressed in beta 8.  Though if you hit that bug, I have a detailed work around to process your eventlog if you had an "exciting" mission and do not want to lose data.

Until you get beta 8 though, a safe bet will be to fly Eagle Day or later to minimize shipping attacks which will case the dcg error.  Hopefully, Lo will have the link to beta 8 fixed soon.

Some issues:
I tried adding additional planes to the PlanesDE1-so we could see more than the E-3 (As in the beginning the vast majority were E-1, and toward the end vast majority were E-4, with some E-3 sprinkled in between).
Ended up giving me explosions on start, so obviously I did something wrong!

Edit: Also noticed some issue with the AI in the E-3 keeping up. I believe that the E-3 having manual pitch is really f'ing with its head.
Not a whole lot to do about that though Lol!

New Version 2 Posted!  See initial post thread for details.

PS CWMV, likely issue with adding new planes had to do with squad ids.  I have added new period specific plane options in v2 and have included correct ids for period as well as time.  Aka, 109 E7 was used late in limited numbers, but time period had to be adjusted in class.dcg to all it to fly in Sept 40.

All in all, try out v2 and keep me posted how it goes.  If any exploding planes, hit shftTab and see if there are any ERROR lines noted specific to aircraft.  I did not see any explosions in some smoke testing across all available flight options for both RAF and DE.
