I took the liberty of changing textures and changing some airfield way/stay points on this map.  I used textures from the Setouchi map so that these regions of Japan would look similar.  See the next post for a download link.

There was a problem on my map with one of the airfields... (topic discussed here:  https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,52690.0.html ).  Apparently, some of the airfields were not flattened so Kronstadt7 plate was used.  I deleted those plates, flattened a couple airfields, adjusted some waypoints so they wouldn't be too close to objects (which renders them useless).

I'm fairly happy with the result except that the factory texture should probably be a little darker to match the other city texture.  Suggestions are welcome   

Some mountains have agricultural fields textures on them but I didn't feel like re-doing Map_T so I'll leave that to someone else.

The following is from the readme file: 
Many of these new textures are from the Setouchi map.  This was done so that both these two regions of Japan would look similar.  Also included are textures from Cyberolas' Singapore and vpmedia's Berlin.



The files that have been changed are:

Map_T - (only a small part) Hopefully, in the future, someone else can change the fields textures on the mountains.

Map_H - Flattened a couple airfields.

Load.ini - changed to add the new textures.

Actors - mostly changes to airfields.



Installation:

Add the "Kanto" folder, which includes the map files, to your MODS folder (#SAS/MAPMODS/MAPS/Kanto).

Add the _Tex folder, which includes textures, to the MODS MAPS folder (#SAS/MAPMODS/MAPS/_Tex/cztx/Pacific).

Add the following lines to your "all" file located in your MAPS folder:

Kanto Kanto/load512.ini

Did you try opening the map in unlocked FMB and " paint " a new texture on those areas?
