Hi all,

please post an "Idiot Guide" for me to install this beautiful Zeppelin. I wonder, if I have to place a folder called "open SKINMOD" in the STD folder, or how shall I go on with this explanation:

Put the folders call "3do" in your "DBW1916"/STD/and owerwrite,open SKINMOD/3do/Plane and adding "A A A" in the name of the folder 'TB-3-4M-17X(g)

Yes I was wondering at the install instructions.
 I have added the Zepp without problem but have not done the AAA thing? Everything seems to be working okay so I cannot see what the folder rename is about?

it was confusing to me as well... in the end i gave up trying to decifer it and i just dropped the whole folder into #DBW 1916 and skin folder in /skins/ and she works beautifully.

The "A A A" add is for prevent overlapping with the original default skin and new skin.

OK, I found Gotha FM and slot classfiles from DBW1916.

I serched only DBW folder :-[
That was my mistake.

OK friends, I see that some people are having problems in using Zeppelin,

 I will post here some information to make Zeppelin fly good here.

1. Download GIO Zeppelin file

2. Put complete file named "3do" in your #DBW_1916 folder named "STD" (you are ready to fly the Zeppelin)

...in your Game Quick Mission selection this Zeppelin is at the moment called "Gotha G.IV 1917".
This is only temporary. Do not worry.

3. Skins for Zeppelin are found in folder named ...IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\PaintSchemes\Skins\SB_Bomber_Germany

Enjoy and say thank you to Gio



Just so you understand... this Zeppelin mod will replace the Big German Bomber "SB_Bomber_Germany" but a new
slot will be made so the Zeppelin will have its own proper folder. It is only temporary.
Remember also that this Zeppelin is a Beta Mod and is not finished yet. So if you see any error in it, it is only BETA.
I personally have not found any errors. It flies really great.

Maybe the big errors in the operation are not there, but I want to say, when using the slot "SB_Bomber_Germany" and therefore the damage following the same scan, not realistic in a Zeppelin.
The damage should be limited in the case of normal shots of AAA guns and machine guns, only in the case of direct hit from a cannon or use of incendiary projectiles Zeppelin quickly took fire.
At the moment it is not possible, given the current damage system, generate the total fire Zeppelin.
For the new FM I think that, by maintaining the same behavior as the "SB_Bomber_Germany" in general, should be improved a lot, almost double the performance in the rate of climb a slowdown in the response of the controls, especially the horizontal speed and take-off of much lower and with a very short stroke.

(Forse grandi errori nel funzionamento non ci sono, ma vorrei precisare , al momento utilizza lo slot del "SB_Bomber_Germany" e quindi anche i danni seguono la stessa scansione ,non realistica in uno Zeppelin.I danni dovrebbero essere scarsi in caso di colpi normali di cannoni AAA e di mitragliatrici ,solo in caso di colpo diretto  di cannone o di uso di proiettili incendiari lo Zeppelin prendeva rapidamente fuoco .Al momento non e possibile , dato l'attuale sistema di danni ,generare il totale incendio dello Zeppelin. Per la nuova FM penso che , mantenendo lo stesso comportamento  dello "SB_Bomber_Germany"  in generale ,bisognerebbe migliorare molto ,praticamente il doppio , le prestazioni nel rateo di salita un rallentamento nella risposta dei comandi, soprattutto la velocita orrizontale e di decollo di molto piu bassa e con una corsa molto breve.)
