DBW1916 AIRCRAFTs in SFS Format (Updated 2013/01/21)

Dear All,
here we are posting an .SFS pack containing all the Aircrafts (basically all the folders that started with the word AIRCRAFT_) in the last DBW1916 as the version DBW 1916 update v2.1 (UPDATED! 10.01) which includes Patch1 and Patch2 to the DBW1916 v2.1

The files are hosted by Butch(Bwf.). So thanks to him by his offer.

I suggest you to extract the .SFS inside the SAS_DBW folder, so everything external keeps together.

To load this contents, if you use my MultiRC MOD you will know where to put it. If not, add to your .rc (before the #preload REGISTER line) this:

Code: [Select]
#By PAL, Test of 1916
@sfs MOUNT SAS_DBW/dbw1916_Aircrafts.SFS

It includes the classes but is highly porobable that you had some kind of trouble loading everything in .SFS. So in that case use the provided Aircrafts1916-Classes as a typical MOD folder to load only that as a MOD.

The original Folder had more than 1.3Gb. This .SFS is only 369Mb.

I suggest before deleting all your AIRCRAFTs folders to rename them with -AIRCRAFT to avoid loading. I have tested many planes without any trouble, but I never tried a comprehensive test. Just after real confirmation delete all your original folders.

  Regards,
                            Pablo

PD: with time I will try to pack the rest of the contents.

Thank you Pablo

Works great,I need the class used as a Mod to load more planes
I tried the first time without the classes as a Mod and only a quarter of the planes loaded up
with the classes being used though, all planes load up A-Ok

Thanks again guy's  :)

Cheers

Could somebody enlighten an old fart as to where to put the files? I placed the sfs. file in my game's root (not in the #DBW or #DBW1916 folders), I added the two lines in my #DBW1916/STD/.rc file, placed an "-" before all AIRCRAFT folders in my #DBW1916 and I still get the 5% CTD (sfs related). Thank you,

In the game root, there is a folder called 'SAS_DBW' ... if you open it up you'll see it is full of sfs file ... that is where the new sfs file goes ...

Just look at where it is mounted in the .RC file string and follow file and folder structure  ;)
