Glad you gents like that mod of agracier's wonderful Sidi Ifni map. :)
Apart Sidi Ifni's (to 'modern') changes, the colours and the scrub forest plus new airbase, all these wonderful topographical and village elements are from agracier and Uufflakke.
BTW I'd love to live there...beautiful culture, waves, sun,..amazing landscape.

Wow, this map really kept me engaged.
And I cannot get enough of these buildings and villages.

A little fix for those who like to fly at earlier daytimes and without suffering from the very bright textures
, which have to be that way IMO.

I used a dedicated landlight.mat with exactly agracier's values from Lapland.

Usually flying at 10.00 or around noon is not recommended with these saturated textures, now it is no prob.
Also at afternoon the ground looks a bit more real IMO.

Thank you for this great gift.
It does have that African landscape look to it. I was born and used to live in Africa for a while along time ago.
So this brings back some cool memories.

I have finally taken some time out to download and install this thing. Only now because mainly due to the fact that you
now have about 4 different versions and it gets a bit complicated to follow the install procedure. In fact it is very easy
to install as any maps out there, but you have 4 different downloads posted about. I suggest to just erase all
the other posts and just post 2 versions. Every other post will just make it a bit complicated to follow what to
download. I must have download about 18 folders from Mediafire  :P LOL most of the files were the same too.
Anyway, its now done and its all cool and running in the game.
Thank you Tom. I hope you will also enjoy adding on some African tribal huts and some elephants from
the new objects packages to this map.
In the near future I will be creating some more African objects and will also be repainting some more new
Mideast/African houses too.

Thanks Max and Bravo! Yes, I was not that easy at making it easy indeed.
IIRC in post raply #No 3 and above I gave the essence of the jet base map versions.
So you only need one map.  ;)

But to really choose it is also cool to switch between textures, the optional textures have a different look.

What really made the map noon compatible was that last fix posted.

I really enjoyed your new objects Max and also used some of them already in my Quick missions here.

Have them all installed so far. :)

To sum up from this post:
The map, which I have now uploaded in one final version, the textures (you can skip the alternative if you like), the trees.
Everything else are options I gave for advanced users to play around.

I hate maps with too many things to play around, but here it made sense, at least for the tex.

The stuff with water and playing with forest mentioned in post 1 is really only for interested users, I use it "as is" atm. But changed water colour for one version.

TBH I prefer to have this map in two versions, one with the default tex and one with the other tex:) and palm trees in DBW .

Plus I have the map in versions with
Wood0  = forest/summer/Jungle2.tga
Wood1  = forest/summer/Jungle4.tga

and one with
Wood0  = forest/summer/Jungle1.tga
Wood1  = forest/summer/Jungle4.tga

For wood..

I decided to give it a last go and make some changes for Sidi Ifni version..in addition I decided to upload two versions, version Sidi Ifni mod version 2 with the more contrast and coloured look and Sidi Ifni mod version 3 with less contrast but more saturation and some new minor edits..version 3 is my definitive choice.
But now you can have both versions in one upload and install.

Version 2:
(Follow structure and put the new stuff into MapMods inside your Mods/#DBW etc folder and Quick missions into your
 Missions\QuickQMBPro folders.)

Version 3:
I added a more real Sidi Ifni harbour dock landmass at the big quay section.
Also changed water color slightly.
Added UP~Boomer's trees (Palms) to this version as well.
Inside ag_uf_ifni3 map folder is an alternative load.ini, you can engage that one by erasing the two "--" symbols and will get a different sky layout for high clouds, the one from CY6's Korea maps.
An option.


If you like the Uufflakke desert trees from previous versions, you can rename each load.ini at the tree section, I let the desert.tree entry in.

The desert trees are also somewhere in this thread available, IIRC post one a.o.

Worked on a new version with minor yet nice changes for more realism of my favourite IL-2 map by agracier and Uff.
Hope it will rock. I am  sorta proud to have invested so much time to compare the general feel to the real area.
