Albatros D.Va

(Updated 1-30-13 Ver.1.3f FINAL)

What's up everyone!? As promised, and after the past few days full of work, I bring you the Albatros D.Va!

I was able to use most of the D3 meshes, and edit them, so that while the shape may change, they still maintain close to the same mapping as the original. Skins that are already made will work ok with this and are not wasted. That was a top priority for me, because I started off as a skinner, and know what it's like when templates change. I will say though, on the new tail, the emblem will be larger. I editted Phas3e's template (which I made available down below) with a few more layers, translations, some condensing, etc, which solve the emblem size issues.

3d changes include the DVa round tail, shorter and slightly stubbier fuselage, top wings dropped @ 4 - 5 inches, outer wing strut braces added, and lower wingroot fairing/braces removed, correct position for body struts.

I also spent a good amount of time editting the D3 cockpit into the D5 cockpit. Just about all the gauges and switches are relocated. This is my first public cockpit edit, so I hope it's good. Those gauge needles are a major pain in the ass!!  :D VPMedia has also provided us 2 excellent cockpit repaints! The default one, and this alternative below.

Hope you guys enjoy it. It was quite a bit of work. Please leave comments, problems, etc.

VERSION 1.3f Changelog:
Tail skid skin mapping tweaked
Interior Wing mounts connect to body in proper position

VERSION 1.2 Changelog:
Fixed issue where stab appearto low on fuselage

VERSION 1.1 Changelog:
Removed lower wingroot fairing braces from fuselage.
1.1 main file updated
1.1 Hotfix for 1.0 users available below in 2nd link
