friends, when I saw this beauty, I again wanted to open my Cinema 4D and again make planes, ships and auto's...  :-[
Tell me pls, if there are planes that have to do? Maybe there is a place for me in the team of developers of other aircraft?  :-[

PS Guys who develop Sonia ... I'm proud of you! Thank you! And I am very pleased that a small part of my work also now had wings and will bring joy to other people!
Thx guys and good luck

I am learning to work on planes now. Here is my first release... https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=40055.0

I would like to work with you. If you can do the 3d on planes I could make the slot and classfile and such. :)

Well Da_Don, there are several gaps in DBW 1916. Some very important two seaters are not yet available.
Any additions would be extremely welcome. If you want to mod a plane, I think I can find engine data and pictures.
cheers

Da_Don,

From your past projects it seems that there is some interest in Japanese planes.  Thanks to you we may be able to fill an important gap in the light bomber area (Ki-51).

Have you consider other plane such as:

Kawasaki Ki-48 Sokei (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=15028.msg160594#msg160594)

Mitsubishi G3M Rikko (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=25303.msg261135#msg261135)

Or if you want a simpler single engine plane ...

Mitsubishi Ki-30 (in a way similar to the Sonia) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitsubishi_Ki-30),

Nakajima C6N Saiun (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=39459.msg439846#msg439846)

Or, staying in the PTO, the Australian CAC Boomerang (https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php?topic=36061.msg395005#msg395005)

Back on the topic - the Sonia looks great.  To all involved - thank you.

Cheers,

Ace,

Thanks - I know of these models.

For the Ki-30 - it is a franken so I thought if someone is interested in doing a dedicated 3D model it'd be nice.  For the G3M - I am looking forward to that too.  But TedStryker has so many projects going on at the same time and he has not posted in quite a few months ... still hopeful though.

Hi guys, thanks for the feedback. Two years ago I was going to create Ki-48 and G3M, I have full material for these aircraft. But they can only do in the team. I can make a proper model, Lods, but can not make configuration for this planes
Now I not have internet and i will be out April, I will check the possibility of the creation of these two planes, i can not any promise, but I'll see what I can do.

Fly safe and check u six  :)

Da_Don,

Great to hear and look forward to your new plane.  Thank you again - and ten010 - for the work on the Ki-51.

As for team work - once you have a model there may be skilled modders here who'd be willing to help on other parts.

Cheers,
