A nice museum with some one of a Kinds, like the only surviving and good looking He-111 Stepped cockpit version (E version). 

Most planes there are in generally good condition except those outdoors, get the Ju-52's in a hangar, please... and the MiG 21, 15, 17, Saab Viggen, B-25, etc.

The ones outdoors are really bad in condition especially the Dornier Do-24 but they can be repaired, need new glass, the sun rendered them yellow.

 The planes indoors used to be outdoors and came in because the Spanish Government which runs the museum got that the planes outside were really valuable historically...

Also there is a hangar full of models of all sorts and then a part of a hangar with different weapons

You forgot to mention one of the most important things to the visitors:

If you are planning to go to Madrid, make sure you go there the first weekend of the month, so that you'll be able to visit the AF museum on Saturday and on Sunday you'll see the amazing collection of the Fundación Infante de Orléans, and watch an aerial exhibition of some of their birds such as the I-16 Mosca, the Dragon Rapide, two T-6 Texans, a very rare Comper Swift and other very interesting machines from the 20s to the 50s!!

And for the weird WWII stories fans you'll find a Grasshopper from the same squadron as the one involved in the last WWII dogfight between an observation L-4 which spotted a Fi-156 and shot it down with the .45 caliber pistol

I specially like the all red colored MiG-15/17. I also painted a skin with it.
