I believe this is not a prettiest jet thread without one of the first jets:

+1 Killer, for me, the only real jet, the Prettiest jet, it's the Me262 ;)

I'm ashamed of you guys, where's the Sr-71?!

I'm also ashamed of you guys...
How come nobody here mendtioned the F-5 Tiger, that little pretty sexy thing!
ever since i saw it in top gun (playing a fictional Mig-28) I fell in love with that beauty! and also her younger smoking sister the F-20.

My favorite Jet Plane:

Quote
Also known as the Frisbee and the Wobblin’ Goblin, the Nighthawk, only used in night-time missions (hence the name), is unstable in flight but also highly maneuverable and almost invisible to radar.

A nice Step Stone of Aviation Evolution, that left a Time Stamp in History

No comment to the latest two posts above me (*cough* we're talking about the ->prettiest<- jet *cough*), I must admit that the Talon is sweet as well and the Me-262 of course is damn close to the hunter.
Regarding 262 and Hunter, these two aircraft are perfect examples of something that just looks right.
It's just like this: You look at it and say "yep, that's it!".
Clear lines, no fuddly duddly fancy stuff around. See the 262: Even the Boeing 737 basically kept the same layout. Perfect 2 engine jet, as the Hunter is the perfect single engine jet layout for it's era.

Best regards - Mike
