I've heard 109s collects shells so it is historically correct that 109 doesn't eject shells not sure though

Here is a small mod I found on my HD, sadly I don't know who made it
and the readme comes without the name of the maker

Hi
This replaces the shell casings to the original.
Extract it in your game folder with this structure
\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\Files\3do\Effects\GunShells\
or import it to JGSME.

so credits goes to a unknow hero!  ;D

Download the attachment, unzip it and
put the folder "shells_back" to your DBW folder.

There is also another mod that offers smaller sized 'shells' (about 1/2 or 3/4 sized methinks) by whom I don't know; apparently the shell casing sizes of the original/stock shells are perhaps a little too big for realism.

The only shells ejecting from 109's should be wing guns/cannons, or Gallands custom F2/F4 with trial nose mounted MG131's.

Hello guys and really many thanks for your kindly repkies!! :) :)

I've heard 109s collects shells so it is historically correct that 109 doesn't eject shells not sure though

@Hangman: I build these 2 Me.109G-6 in 1/48 scale (http://www.modellismopiu.net/m+gallerie/main.php?g2_itemId=90039&g2_page=4) for Luftwaffe &  Regia Aeronautica (Royal Italian Air Force) and I study the plane quite well to say that shells spent goes out from lower side of the nose, behind oil cooler (three shells spent ejection squared holes)...

@SAS-Gerax: many thanks for your mod!! I will try them!!

I will try to do how you suggest and then I will reports you the results... :) :) :)

Many thanks again!!!
Ciao!
