Very interesting thing about that roundel size. I never seen, or at least I never noticed it before, on
any spitfire from WW2. A guy is always discovering new things about these aircraft which is very cool.

If there is anyone out there that can reproduce the SPit Mk IX for me it would be greatly appreciated
details are: 302 Sq Mk IX designation letters WX-F  serial MA843
This would be during 1943 and early 1944 pre D-Day markings. The link below shows the spit as flown after my father had transferred from 302sq
