Dedicated Server files.
« on: April 21, 2013, 11:55:30 AM »

In order to set up a dedicated server does one only need say the 4.11 + 4.11.1 dedicated server files
For a 4.11.1 game?
Or do you need all the dedicated server patches from 4.08 to 4.11.1?
Just like when you need all the patches when install your game from disk.

Here are the dedicated patches.

Thanks for any info.

You need the full patch route like you do for clients, starting with 4.08m and going all the way up to 4.11.1m.

A little up-date to this post.
We have been trying to use ModAct 4 plus 4.11.1 into a dedicated sever.
We have all of the dedicated server patches plus the dedicated sever  SaS selector.
No matter how we make the installs the serve will crash or if it does start some of the
home bases are removed from the maps.
The bases are the ones that use test runway 4 for air starts.

With any help we Thank You.

Hey I'm gonna follow this one to see what the outcome is. a ModAct server would be really cool but for 5.11.

I might have missed something, but what exactly is the point of installing a full modact on a dedicated server? It would be absolutely sufficient to install the selector and, if required, modded aircraft if there are any which are to be used apart stock ones.
