I Tried it in latest BAT WAW.  Below are some comments:

* Handles Well
* In my setup, the gunsight flashes and the gunsight dimmer does not work (not sure if it is meant to work since there are no guns)
* Interface states that cockpit opens and closes, but it does not move at all

There are some meshes that do not show up.  Could be my installation or conflict with other mods.

Really like the mod, and would keep it in any installation.  Hoping for future addition in BAT WAW and perhaps some skins.  I took a look at all my books.  Not a whole lot more info on this bird.  In Joachim Dressel's and Manfred Griehl's "Luftwaffe Album", they mention the A-8/U1 conversion (S-8) as a tandem trainer with "reduced" armament... that is the only reference that may imply there was some gun(s) left I have seen... but I guess reduced could mean removed.  In William Green's (outdated but still relevant) "Warplanes of the Third Reich" he mentioned that the limited numbers of S-5 and S-8 field conversions were meant for conversion of Stuka pilots to the Fw-190, but that most were used for fast liaison duties.  The only reference to a load I have seen is this 1/32 model conversion with a drop tank, but I have seen no real pictures of such a thing:  https://imodeler.com/2018/03/fw-190s-8-conversion-1-32-hasegawa/

Eventually it would be nice to have the ability to seat in the back (the instructor), and who knows, maybe some semi-fictional loads... maybe the option to carry the MGs, a couple of cannons, a drop tank and maybe a couple of smaller bombs for night harassment... armed recce... forward air controller... or maybe cargo pods for stuff like supply drops, mail drops, KG-200 special ops type...  Some ideas, but obviously this is a great mod as it is.

Cockpit open and close works, now. See photos below.
Gunsight. I am clueless at this time. Maybe a Java guy can fix.
I will add the two nose MGs as an option in Alpha model.
Missing HeirMeshes were deleted from heir because of the new canopy set-up. They do not effect
the flying ability as far as I can determine.

Which meshes do not show up?

to avoid errors at launch it would be better to take out any reference to the deleted meshes in the plane class. It is also possible to have references to missing meshes in the FW-190 mother class in this case the only solution would be to have an ad-hoc mother class.

Many thanks Z, very nice model of this rare beastie.

Just a point, I know you want to get the tex fitting better, but the RLM76/65 polys at the wing-fuselage join are actually spurious polys, overlaying the correct ones.  I'm not sure if you can delete or flip the polys to get rid of them, the way you mod?

Also, those dark/black bits on fuselage/wing join area are from the tex itself, just need to alter the tex.  It's the wing cap tex that is interfering, just need to cover over part of that.
