Two production forms of the Me 209 II were planned, designated "A-1" and "A-2".

The Me 209 A-1 would have been based on the V5 prototype by having the DB 603G engine. The air intake would have been on the port side.

The Me 209 A-2 would have been based on the V6 prototype by having the Jumo 213E engine. The air intake would have been on the starboard side.

N.B. the V5 was fitted with a DB 603A first, then a DB 603G when one became available.

The 3d model we have thus represents the Me 209 A-2 and so ideally should have a Jumo 213E, not a DB engine.

Based on this model, also possible would be the Me 209H, which would have also had a DB 603.

All that said, thanks very much for the hard work and a great plane.
