I was two weeks in a holiday, and what happens....  D520, He111A-E, Br.20.  At Last!
Thank YOU Dreamk!  I like a aircraft diversity of early ww2. (and pre WW2). And this moment i wheel that early stages of ww2 is actually more interesting late stages when 10000 P-51 was against 10000 Bf-109. But this is only my opinion...

My opinion too ... and there was such a large difference among the many aircraft types and models too ... they often looked so different and odd, as if aircraft designers were trying out everything conceivable in the way of aircraft design.

Yes. The most interesting times in aviation has been when there has been rapid technical changes (because of new innovations)  and applications has not been stable.  Example  early ww1,  middle (or late) of 30's (conversion from biplane to stressed skin monoplanes)  late 40's (jet engines) and late 50's (mach 2.0 fighters)

But for or the reference . Look F1 cars...Same kind of technical crossovers is possible to see...  Late 50's (front motor to back motor) , Late 60's (new aerodymics), late 70's (wing cars) and .... look following  site! Absolutely incredible!     http://www.statsf1.com/

Update No2

https://www.mediafire.com/?tr8yia09zuo60sc
Install the main download archive then copy over these files:
They include:
1)changes in FM (torque at take off corrected, better centering of the plane, deploiement of turrets now reduce speed by 60-70kmh as in historical data)
2) Turrets are now deployed by pressing the keys for "open/close cokpit" - they induce a drag when in flight, without impeding the take off performances.
3) corrected meshes for exhausts He111B and front couple windows "overpainted"

(Links in First Post updated)

PS. UW Map for the overpainted front windows

Thanks for the update, DreamK!

Although I cannot see the overpainted windows (even though I've modified my skins using the UW file)

Anyway, here's a small 4 WIP skin-pack for those who do not want to wait until the final set is released.

Made them of course using Agracier's wonderful template.

Have fun!

Tofolo - have you copied the update2 into your mod folder ?(check that teh name of your he111ABE folder is indeed He111ABE) - it includes the meshes for the windows - here's what it looks with the skin you made (I think that on the real plane the insignia also covered overpainted the windows - BTW for the He111_25o15_38, to the best of my knowledge the diving falcon beak was directed towards the front of the plane on both sides)

Yes, I've tried several times...the name is what you specify and I've erased the wrapper.cache file in order to re-load all the mods. I've even reinstalled the whole plane, and no success on it

It's a mistery...perhaps some other pilot could confirm that i'm doing something wrong...or not

about the comet from the skin, you're right, but since I couldn't check what the windows looked like it was a first try on the mapping. Whenever I get the overpainted windows working the painting will be complete.

Check that the Windows_D0.msh size is 29 kb and not 27kb as the original, then open it with a text editor and check that the materials are written like this:

very strange - and the four new files windows_D0.msh, windows_D1.msh, windows_D2.msh, windows_D3.msh are in your directory He111ABE/3Do/Plane/He111ABE/ ?
Does someone encounter the same problem?

Do not know if it is the same problem, but when using the other skin pack provided a few days ago, the windows are in a strange red colour...
