I hope you will enjoy the new skins I will create from these skin-templates. I am still studying the books and
blueprints which were donated to me by the skin artist Leperemagloire , and "maybe" I will be able to create a few skins which
will represent other bomber versions of this early classic Heinkel-111.  :) It is possible.

This is an important aircraft because it first flew in 1935 and ended service in 1973 !
 Even though this early version is best known for flying under the "Legion Condor" name during the Spanish Civil War, it also saw action during the
early years of WW2 and then served as a training airplane for many Luftwaffe pilots until 1943.
The Heinkel-111 descendant continued in service until 1973, as production continued after WW2 as the Spanish-built CASA 2.111.
It had an amazing history

Benno, use AutodiffM - this mod is for 410 as the other planes I released in the frame of the SCW, AutoDiffM with enable you to ignore the difference in the ways the FM are compiled. Or look in the forum for Epervier's 409 version.

I did not notice your new upload for this airplane for the 4.10 game version - « Reply #155 on: January 05, 2017

Now I have it working very nice in the VP-Modpack for game-4.12.
All I did was create a new folder to place the DiffFm used for the 4.10 game inside my "SAS folder.

It is flying great now , bombs great too, and I can see a very nice version of the bombardier position. The other airplane positions
for the machine-gunners are also all working great !

Perhaps you might want to post your new engine fix for the Heinkel-111 B Version air scoops. Those new fixes
complete the good looks of this airplane model. Much better than before !

Do 17 E1, E2 and F are ready - including a new working BZG-2 bombsight for the E1 and E2 - I'm finishing adjusting new bombsights for the Do217M and P, and correcting some last cockpit details - then they will be ready for the required default skinning (outer default skin and bomber cockpit/ BZG-2 bitmaps) and then... uploading
Some more patience is still needed (but not too much :)) )

Any news about?

Sorry to bring up an old thread but I just got around to use these planes, 409 version. I have gone through the thread and saw that others have had an issue with the four forward fuselage windows and that it had been fixed.

I seem to be having the issue still.  Up close the windows are solid, but appear to be mapped somewhere other than the fuselage. At a distance the windows then become clear as can be seen in the screen shots. Since it happens with the default skin it would appear that it is not a skin issue.

Is anyone else having this problem? If not what version or fix are you using?

Windows are not "mapped" using alpha cutting to make them appear transparent but cut out, their glass parts using the glass material (glass2 if I remember well). You can play with the parameters of this material to change its transparency or tint.

Since the front four windows were plated over I trying to find a way to keep them solid, instead of them switching to glass as you pan out. After further checking it may not be possible because it seems only the 0 LOD has solid materials Glass and Gloss1D0o, the rest have only Glass.
