Not necessarily, the laws of physics are more flexible than the laws governing aerodynamics  ;). It's all relative dear boy .......  ;) but that is a whole other debate...  :P

I hope you are right. But I fear economics will also play a huge role, especially with nations heavily in debt that can't afford the development and qualifying cost of a full up fighter like the F22 or F35. Offensive drones are already a reality and much cheaper.

I find next gen fighters to be quite horrible to be honest.

Back in the days airplanes used to be more pleasing to my eyes
