I am unsure where to add the catapults.ini file to my game installation. I am using 4.12.2 + SAS Modact 5.3 with the latest SAS engine mod 2.7. Could someone please enlighten me as to where to place the catapults.ini file. It would be greatly appreciated.  :)

Hi Krieger!

In the "SAS engine mod 2.7" folder you find the com\maddox\il2\objects folder,
there the catapults.ini is located. Open it with any texteditor and add the entries
and save.  ;)

Odd damage occurrence, had some hurricanes attack one with rockets and the hanger bay disappeared and some flat mesh extended over the sides at where the base of the hanger would have been...I'll try to post a screenshot soon...

I have the same problem as Radge. I am running 4.12.2+modact 5.3, and I added all the lines to all of the neccesary lines. Is there a fix, or should I resort to just using it as part of mission scenery.

Just, I had troubles - I couldn't use the engine mod, because had standalone difffm, sas ma difffm and many other bad things, my install was crazy in those days, lol :D

Then... sorry, I can't guess what your problem is :(

maybe it's something as simple as making sure the chocks are on...?

Nope. The plane starts with the chocks on, suspended just to the right of the catapult. Basically, the whole thing plays out like Radge described it in his first post.

I honestly have no idea what I did/what is going wrong.
