AEG J.I/Ia/II

I completely forgot that I finished to debug this mod  :) and that it has been laying on my hard disk for quite some time. The first Surmovik in History - the AEG J in its 3 version J.I/ J.Ia/ J.II - an extarpolation of the AEG CIV (I used GIO's AEG CIV as a basis for creating this mod), it served as a test bed for the very concept of armoured assault plane and as an operational test bed for a number of weapons technology that were to see long developments....







Here it is - wipe the current AEG CIV folder and install this one instead (it will also correct the abherrent turret behaviour of the CIV and CIVN)

    The AEG J includes 2 Spandau obliquely mounted under the fuselage to straff trenches (have we got trenches populated with soldiers in Il2?) or battle fields
    Observer gun can be selected as:
    1) Parabellum MG14
    2) Gaast 1918 - double barelled, so secret that the Allied discovered its existence only 2 years after the war, and so advanced that its technology is still used for teh guns of present day MiG jetfighters
    3) Becker 20mm gun, the forerunner of all the Hispano aircraft gun family
    4) Bergman MG15 MG, that made its first steps in ww1....
with a variety of ammo drums suited to various versions of the Parabellum and the Bergman

I also noted when updating my stationary mod that you have cured the problem with the original two aircraft
being raised off the ground, superb. ;)

Very difficult choice between the AEG J.I/Ia/II or the Hansa-Brandenburg C.I as my favorite strike A/C of IL2-1916....

I think the Brandenburg for its lovely engine cowling  :D
