Cannot save Mission,Modact 5 for 4.12

Cannot save Mission on FMB on any addon maps, like Prokhorovka retextured, retowned, revillaged, running 4.12m with SAS Mod Activator v5.1 , have used universal_static.ini_checkerV1.3 cannot see any missing objects.

Steven, are you using the new ModAct Static.ini? If not you may need to use the UP3 Static.ini...

You need more than just a static.ini
you need all the objects installed as well
They go together like two pea's in a pod  ;)

Why the static.ini checker say's yes,there are no objects missing
Is because all it does really is check your static.ini text file to see if all the objects are listed in the text file that are in the actors.static file of the map

It does not know whether you have the objects actually installed,or if there installed correctly

On SAS Modact 5
copy and paste the up_objects01.sfs to up_objects04.sfs into your SFS_AUTO folder>
SFS_AUTO/up_objects01.sfs to up_objects04.sfs

Then use a UP3 RC4 Static.ini to have all the UP3 Objects installed into your SAS Modact 5

You can do the same with the map and texture SFS Files
then use the all.ini from UP3

Or add DBW Map/Tex and Object SFS Files
useing then the Static.ini and all.ini from DBW

Either ,either ... or 
but you must install objects, and a static.ini together as a unit
that also correspond to one another

I have all UP3 RC4 Maps,Textures and Objects working fine in SAS Modact 5 for 4.12 this way

For those who have DBW install, back up your modact5 maps folder and static.ini in a safe place then replace them with your maps folder, DBW Map/Tex and Object SFS Files AND the up_objects01.sfs to up_objects04.sfs and you will have everything for your maps to work in modact5

Does anyone have a stock DBW/UP3 Static ini that's not modded?............ all the copies I have have stuff in them that's not in the stock version.

If someone could send me one I'd appreciate it.

It would be great if anybody upload a patch containing all the necessary SFS  and static.ini to files repair 4.12 with 5 .11 SAS modact, together with step by step readme file. Not everybody has UP3RC4 installed, not to speaking about SFS packs.

Other wish and question: is it possible to add maps to SASmoded  4.12 by former, without SFS - style ? That is , map folder into Mods/mapmods/maps folder, 3do into STS/ folder and add2staticini.txt file ?

Yes,maps/textures and objects can be installed into SAS Modact 5 like any other modded version
everything is the same,using the #SAS folder for the mods

As far as objects and the static.ini
There are a lot of new Medittarean objects in 4.12
as well as other new objects

These will need to be dissected/extracted from the game first
then those objects,and there static.ini info could be added to UP3 or DBW
that is the easiest way IMHO

It will take creating info for the extractor to extract all the necessary files for the new objects
or using one of the File Dump tools

extracting the objects out of 4.12
so as the files and static.ini info can be added to UP3/DBW or any other Modded version of the game
Making the new objects as stand alone objects that could be added to any install
would be the way to do it IMHO

Not an easy chore,it is going to take some time and effort on someones part
