Thanks again. I've been mapping the past few days; major details are there:

I seem to have cracked accurate mapping as well, which is a bonus for the skinners out there!
I haven't bothered putting a rear machine gun on yet - there are plenty of lewis gun models in the game, so making my own would be a waste of time. Also, my priority is to get the plane in-game and flying before I started arsing around with turrets.

Very nice. :) When you finish, if you can get someone to make skins for it, try to include a blank. The game always puts the roundals on the AI planes and it looks funny with two sets. :)

Ah, the "roundels" - these aren't intended as markings, they're to check the skin isn't being stretched in any places, and to help identify parts. I will include a blank.

ANTI-submarine version instead of the rear machine gun used 20mm cannon somewhere in the archive photo I have to find her, but I think it was just a field modification

Interesting, and they carried that gun on the rear turret? That can be a nice bomber killer.

mikoyan99/Matt :  excellent  work !

I was dreaming for such a Japaneese seaplane for years !
Guadalcanal campaigns can be much much improved thanks to F1M.

I am fed up to simulate ijn seaplanes with Arado 196  :D

oh and be carefull to something,  4.11 brought us a floatplane from a country like romania os something but
flight model is totaly weird as this floatplane fly 4 minutes and then the engine stops (i guess no more fuel) which renders this floatplane totaly useless in a mission.
Please take care that F1M can fly at least 2 hours so we can actually play with it in our missions.

But the point of the post is : thank you very much for your job, keeping il2 a very good WW2 pacific  aircraft  game (among other war theaters).

Balto, the Aichi E13A is WIP at aviaskins, see http://forum.aviaskins.com/showthread.php?t=2343
So you won't have to use the Ar-196 as a standin for much longer- you will be able to choose between Pete and Jake!
