You probably don't have the forgotten countries mod, which adds new regiments and squadrons.  You can just go into the mission file and rename them to squadrons you already have...

I've been searching for more than an hour for this "moon mod", on multiple forums. Does anyone have a link or the proper name for it?

surely it makes more sense to post that in the lounge, as many more will read it there.....there's no mention of a moon mod anywhere in this thread, so i don't get why you posted  it here, seemingly at random.... ???
