Re: prototype XF-104
« Reply #24 on: July 10, 2013, 03:54:58 PM »

Hello everyone! :)
As one of pilots of F-104 said: that plane does not forgive mistakes for anyone... :(
I tried to consider all the tips and suggestions and made some changes to the prototype, and renamed them XF-104A and XTF-104G.

Version 2.

XTF-104G:

Resized the fuel tanks
Changed the position of the landing gear

Here are having problems with the default skin

XF-104A:

Removed the fuel tanks
added pylons at the wings_outs
 (Thank`s GJE52 for L-159G)

Does this frankenplane live up to its reputation of "Widow Maker":P
Any memories from survivors of the landing ?

By the way, no playable back seat in this f104 ?
Do you know any jet in IL2 that is playable by two players in multiplayers (even without working radar) ?
The ones like the T-38 have two seats, but only one player can use the same plane in multi...

But well done, this sim really needed a widowmaker !

Hi Bison,

Awesome stuff now it definitely has a starfighter appeal  :D ;)

With its unique tail fin combination longer fuselage and longer wing tanks very cool  ;D

Bison, your talent has been growing by leaps and bounds lately. Very impresive. Thank you for all your hard work. :)

Re: AJF-2
« Reply #35 on: July 14, 2013, 12:36:50 PM »

Hello everyone! :)
Continuing the theme of "alternative jet fighters" I want to offer you the following alternative: "AJF-2". Do not look for analogues in aircraft manuals. This is a collective image of the multi-jet aircraft based on the L-139.
Seeing those old requests that have appeared in the eponymous theme over the last few days, I decided to offer it to you.
I hope it will entertain you in anticipation of the F-18.

Download:

https://www.mediafire.com/download/xd69oq5v8l87r0c/000_L-159A%26L-139C_as_AJF-2.rar

Installation:

Unpack the archive into a folder DBW, SAS, MODS, etc.

Nothing has changed in the air.ini

When you select L-159C you get AJF-2

With this mod compatible with some of the skins in the previous version of the L-159.

I apologize for the bugs in 3D, DM.

Special thanks for the mods used to model:

1C: Maddox Games for IL-2
GJE52  and Pink_Tigger for 3D L-139/159
Beowolff and ton414 for L-139/L159 A,C,N
F22-Raptor-2006 - Java, FM
S3-Weapons
Enforcer -pylones
Croc -  template
Stefano  - default skin
Ectoflyer - the idea of transformation
And to all those who I have not mentioned in this list.
(Maybe someone else I forgot? Remind me please)

Enjoy!  ;)
